Property at a Glance: River Run Condominiums
Lifts and gondolas carry skiers from River Run Village’s rustic condos high up to the top of Keystone Resort, where you can zip down its famous snow-powdered mountains in winter, or go mountain biking in summer. River Run Condominiums is close to the action, but still manages a peaceful, laid-back vibe away from the noise. Guests can lounge in an outdoor hot tub, or prepare an apres-ski meal in the full kitchen of their condo.
- Take the River Run gondola to the summit of North Peak, or Dercrum Mountain for an easy way to get around; additional fees apply.
- Apres-ski dining: Warm up with hearty pasta at Luigi’s Pasta House, then close out the evening with a cup of coffee and a book at Inxpot or a craft beer at Zuma’s Roadhouse.

Keystone, Colorado: Thousands of Skiable Acres near Historical Towns
With North America’s Continental Divide snaking through the area, northwest Colorado boasts some of the world’s most popular ski resorts and several mountains reaching elevations of more than 13,000 feet. One of the popular resort areas, Keystone, encompasses three mountains, more than 3,000 skiable acres, two gondolas, and 20 lifts full of skiers, snowboarders, and snowshoers. There’s also Adventure Point, a tubing spot with a lift at the top of Dercum Mountain.
After ski season, Keystone Mountain transforms into a scenic park for biking, horseback riding, and guided hikes. Take the gondola to Adventure Point at top of the mountain to tube-slide down a snowy hill that stays slushy well into the summer. The area also features two championship golf courses that stretch past pristine lakes, meadows, and the Snake River.
Less than 10 miles west of town lies the Dillon Reservoir, a lake spanning more than 3,000 acres that now covers the original site of the town of Dillon. Here, you can spend a day canoeing, windsurfing, or fly-fishing on the Blue River, which flows into the lake. To the north, the Arapaho National Forest stretches across 1.5 million acres of protected mountains and grassland laced with hiking trails.
