Waikiki, Honolulu: White-Sand Beaches, World-Class Surfing, and Luxury Entertainment

When they're not surfing or sunbathing on Waikiki's beach, most travelers explore the area's busy avenues lined with everything from upscale boutiques and nightclubs to craft booths and street performers. Other attractions include the Honolulu Zoo, which houses exotic and endangered species such as sumatran tigers and white-handed gibbons, and the Waikiki Aquarium, where more than 3,500 creatures of the Pacific glide throughout glassed-in galleries.

Also nearby is one of Hawaii's most recognizable natural landmarks, Diamond Head State Monument—a 300,000-year-old saucer formed by a single eruption. Hikers can walk along a trail where molten lava once smoldered to ascend to the crater’s 560-foot-tall lip.

Sorry my review from before was for a different hotel!!! Please disregard that! But for this hotel it was very nice and lovely. Me and my family would definitely stay again. It does have a fridge but no microwave which was ok with us! Walking distances to alot of stores and the beach!! The staff were very nice and professional!!

It was decent and fit the budget. We stayed here for Christmas and New Year. For the most part the room was comfortable but had some quirks. This was our first stay here but fourth time back to Waikiki. Normally we choose something closer to the beach but this was what fit the budget. The Room I found the bed very comfortable. Pillows were satisfactory and the size of the room was also satisfactory. I didn't really like the washroom. I'm a shorter person so I found the counter to be too high as compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The shower was extremely underwhelming. It took a good solid 15 to 20 mins before the water ever got hot, especially in the evening and we were on the 7th floor. The air conditioner worked fine but would shut off if you didn't close the lanai door properly. It was a bit finicky. The in-room "amenities" were a bit disappointing. There wasn't a real coffee maker in the room, just an electric kettle. There also wasn't any stationary if you needed to quickly jot something down. The Safe was a good size and could put a good amount of stuff in it. Definitely big enough for a laptop. The Hotel Overall the hotel was average. There were nice lounging areas and had a restaurant connected. We only ate there once as it didn't really appeal to us that much. There was a New Years Eve party by the pool which you had to pay extra to attend and were not even allowed to use pool that night. As a person who actually paid to stay at the hotel I didn't really appreciate that. The Beach Candy was a nice perk, and gave us the opportunity to try paddle boarding for the first time ever. The staff were friendly and accommodating. As a whole it was a good place to stay. The resort fee didn't really reflect what I thought it should have in the "amenities". That being said, I probably wouldn't choose this hotel in the future as I just found the walk to the beach to be too much everyday. We did buy a Trolley pass. Which was a huge life saver, but trying to schedule your pickups in a timely manner was a bit of an adventure. We felt like we wasted a lot of time just waiting for the bus most days. So the location of this hotel isn't ideal if you are hoping to get the most out of the beach. Like I said in the beginning, we've been to Waikiki several times and are quite familiar with the area so we kind of knew what to expect staying here. But if you are a first-timer, save your money till you can book something much closer to the beach and more in the heart of Waikiki. As someone who has experienced stays in different parts of Waikiki over the years I recommend staying more central. Especially if it's your first time. Your experience will be so much better. If however, you are more of a pool person and don't care for the beach this would be a good place as the pool area is fairly nice. All-in-all it's Hawaii! Enjoy!

Good experience except the resort fee and parking The hotel has a good location to the beach, the room is very comfortable, staff were very nice. The only drawback is the parking, that you have to pay 51 dollars for a valet, so I have to park 20 mins walking every day to avoid paying the 51 dollars. Also, there's a resort fee of 45 dollars +taxes that I don't see a reason for it, we didn't get anything special to be worth it. We got 2 bottle of water and 2 lemonade for 370 dollars resort fee.

Great trip The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! The pillows were so comfortable. The pool experience was amazing and the location was perfect, in walking distance to everything! The valet parking guys were fast and super friendly. I would highly recommend this cute boutique hotel!
