Waikiki, Honolulu: White-Sand Beaches, World-Class Surfing, and Luxury Entertainment

When they're not surfing or sunbathing on Waikiki's beach, most travelers explore the area's busy avenues lined with everything from upscale boutiques and nightclubs to craft booths and street performers. Other attractions include the Honolulu Zoo, which houses exotic and endangered species such as sumatran tigers and white-handed gibbons, and the Waikiki Aquarium, where more than 3,500 creatures of the Pacific glide throughout glassed-in galleries.

Also nearby is one of Hawaii's most recognizable natural landmarks, Diamond Head State Monument—a 300,000-year-old saucer formed by a single eruption. Hikers can walk along a trail where molten lava once smoldered to ascend to the crater’s 560-foot-tall lip.

Sorry my review from before was for a different hotel!!! Please disregard that! But for this hotel it was very nice and lovely. Me and my family would definitely stay again. It does have a fridge but no microwave which was ok with us! Walking distances to alot of stores and the beach!! The staff were very nice and professional!!

Average with a few hiccups My stay was average mainly for several factors. The housekeeping is very awesome friendly so kudos to them for doing a great job. Upon my arrival my family and I noticed a very foul smell in the hallways from the first set of elevators to the second set. It smelled sour and if something was rotting. In our room the toilet paper roll was half used and TV remote did not work consistently. Other then that the room was good. The refill water bottle station had a red filter the whole time. My family and I experienced a bought of gastritis leaving us in our room for 3 days. Also the microwave was removed for a few hours during this time resorting to us eating out when unwell. Please consider these observations as room for improvement and lastly valet was excellent and on top of their work. Thank you. I will leave a Yelp review as well if this is recommended. Thank you.

Less than impressed Our stay at Romer Waikiki Beach was extremely disappointing and fell far below the 4-star experience we were expecting. From the moment we arrived, the shower/bath drain was blocked, causing water to pool up to 10cm deep during every shower. Despite raising the issue, it was never fixed, making it extremely unhygienic and unpleasant throughout our entire stay. Basic maintenance like a working drain should be expected even at a budget hotel, let alone one marketed as a premium property. The fridge in our room did not work, meaning that after purchasing fresh groceries like fruit and dairy, we found everything spoiled and had to throw it all away. Adding to the disappointment, the towels provided were stained, and there was a large, roughly 30cm wide stain on the carpet right when we walked into the room. It left a terrible first impression and further highlighted the lack of proper upkeep.

Don’t stay here if you are after a quiet stay Don’t stay here if you are after a quiet relaxing stay - the pool area blasts music from 11am to 10pm - there is no consideration for guests - it’s the equivalent of being in a nightclub - no indication when booking that noise from the pool area would be heard in rooms - and the WiFi disconnects at every opportunity. For a $50 daily resort fee you’d expect working WiFi and a bit of quiet but apparently not - and the management would do nothing about these issues either.
