Clients should book their air into PTY which is the Panama main international airport (Tocumen International airport) that is serviced daily from the US by many carriers. It is suggested that you pre-book your ground transportation to the hotel as this is a 90 minute transfer from Tocumen International Airport. Transfers are in shared vehicles between Tocumen International Airport and the Royal Decameron Golf, Beach Resort & Villas, Panama at a per person rate of: US$38 (roundtrip). In shared service, clients could wait to join other passengers or bookings of different flights. Waiting time does not exceed 45 minutes. Transfers must be pre-booked by e-mailing your flight information to: transfer.panama@decameron.com. A transfer confirmation will be sent by e-mail back to you, as well as payment details. Please carry a printed copy of the transfer confirmation e-mail with you upon arrival in Panama. Upon exiting the customs area at Tocumen International Airport, you will be met by a Decameron Explorer representative and directed to the transfer vehicle. Panama, the southernmost country in Central America, has at times been overshadowed by its tourist-saturated neighbor to the north, Costa Rica. But in recent years, that trend has started to change. Adventurers are setting their sights on Panama’s beaches, which are often less crowded and commercialized than those in other warm-weather destinations. Much of Panama’s shoreline looks as it has for hundreds of years. Farther inland, there are tropical rainforests such as Chargres National Park, etched with rivers and lush highlands.
