El Salvador is Central America’s smallest country; it also happens to be its most densely populated. What is the best way to travel to the hotel from the airport?
The hotel is approximately a 60 minute transfer from the Comalapa International Airport (SAL). Round-trip ground transportation is available through Decameron Explorer for $42 US per person; email transfers@decameron.com.sv and mention your Groupon, names, number of guests arriving, date of arrival, arrival airline and flight number, date of departure, and departure airline and flight number. Please keep your confirmation email for travel. Upon exiting the customs area you will be met by a representative of Decameron Explorer and directed to the transfer vehicle. Payment can be made at that point.

Is there an additional occupancy fee, or do I have to purchase another Groupon?
The Groupon covers two guests. Rooms have a maximum occupancy of four. Additional guests 12 or older may stay for $60 per night, and additional guests 11 or younger may stay for $35 per night; any fees are paid at check in directly.

Will I be approached to attend a timeshare sales presentation?
Timeshares are common in El Salvador and so are the sales pitches that accompany them. You may be asked at hotel check-in if you are interested in attending sales presentation. If you don’t want to attend, simply decline and you won’t be approached again. If you decline a presentation, you will not lose the value of your Groupon or have to pay additional fees.
