Still good on the Strip I stayed again at Sahara, after a number of changes this hotel went through. Not sure about the redesign, the room in Marra Tower had a rather unusual layout with the bed placed under the window - no headboard as such and lots of light coming through the flimsy aluminum blinds.
At check in the bathroom smelled strongly of marijuana, obviously coming through the vent. I notified front desk as I didn't want to be made responsible for it. Not the hotel's fault obviously, but they sent housekeeping with a mist machine which made the room smell like Tinkerbell was murdered in there, it was way worse than the marijuana smell which by the way came back the next day. I stopped complaining about it obviously.
Otherwise the place is a lot better, bars, cafes, restaurants and casino are great and monorail is very easy to access. Good value for money and free parking which is quite unique on the Strip. Definitely will be back when next time in Vegas.

Sahara stay This is our second stay and again we had the best service and experience. Being on the Monorail allows for easy access to the strip but the distance allows for a less congested area to stay. Very short Uber from the airport and always clean!

Good value - at a monorail stop We got a great rate at this hotel and we expected it to be old and tired. It was not. It was fairly updated. If you can get a good rate, we would recommend this resort. It is located at a Monorail stop to boot, which will save you time. It is toward the north side of the strip, so the monorail access is great.
