The new yorker, stay Hi, I came here for a few days with my wife (Galyna) it was great. It felt like being in the movies. It's well located near everything. It has three restaurants on site for real great food. The staff here are really nice and friendly, so helpful. The rooms are small but clean. We would stay here again and recommend this place to others. Manuel and Galyna Gomez #teamgomezmembersforlife

Underwhelming This hotel is grand and old but the rooms, particularly the bathrooms, need to be renovated. The toilet was old and small and the tub drain was dirty and peeling. Very poor water pressure. That said, the location is excellent and the room is spacious, by NY standards. It just badly needs an upgrade.

My stay at New Yorker Small single bed told €70 a day extra for a bigger bed. Tiny bathroom could hear next door running the tap. No shower gel provided only small bars soap. No shower hat no pen no pad decor needs upgrade arms of chairs worn. Great location for seeing the sights and beside Penn station if you get the air train and change at Jamaica st you arrive right across the road from hotel. Lift broken for ages do have to struggle with luggage. Taxi €100 to JFK train €20 approx. Tax €350 for week extra as its classed as a resort???? Near port Authority if u plan taking a bus or train 7 blocks walk. No resident bar as advertised by travel agent it’s for private hire. You can get a drink in two restaurants on site but not comfortable bar are expected more services for the cost. Great view of surrounding buildings down to the Hudson

Great Hotel but watch out for the left luggage charges Great art deco hotel, superbly located with helpful and friendly staff. Decent sized clean room for New York. However being charged $5 per item of luggage before check in and after check out is an effrontery. This should be included in the room rate.

Fabulous hotel in fantastic location Lovely old hotel. Rooms may be a bit dated but are spotlessly clean. We were given a free upgrade because of an upcoming birthday and were given a lovely big corner room. All staff are so nice and helpful. I loved that you had to show your room card before approaching the lifts. Made you feel so safe. Tick Tock diner attached to hotel is open 24 hours, and has a great breakfast menu which would set you up for the day. Trattoria Bianca Italian restaurant is also attached to hotel. It's nice but a bit pricey. We loved this hotel. It's in an ideal location, just across from MSG and just down from Penn Station. Would recommend _ and would definitely stay here again.
