Fantastic Hotel across from Convention Center This is a very cool hotel. It’s built from a former school and retained some the layout. The room entrances look like their part of classroom halls. The rooms were small but comfortable. The staff was great. Ate at Teachers Lounge Food + Drink twice and it was good. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area and attended a few parties during convention at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Stout Street Social, Parlur, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, Lucky Strike and saw Katie Perry at the Fillmore. Nice dinner at Fire Restaurant & Lounge as well. Definitely a nice and quiet place to stay if you are at a convention or just want to explore downtown.

A modern stay The room was a modern marvel, perfect for the business traveler. The corner room offered stunning city views through huge windows, though the blinds were a bit of a hassle. The Hilton app was a game-changer, allowing me to control the lights, temperature, and TV with ease. However, the desk, while sleek, wasn't the most comfortable for long work hours. The restaurant, while stylish, lacked options for longer stays. Breakfast, on the other hand, was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond, providing white-glove treatment. The Slate Tapestry Hilton Denver is a great choice for a business trip. The modern rooms and excellent service make for a comfortable stay. A few minor tweaks, like a more ergonomic desk and a wider variety of dining options, could elevate the experience even further.

Not great There are definitely positives to the hotel - interesting design, kind people at the front desk, a well stocked snack area. But there are a number of negatives that win out. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. There are busy streets that surround the hotel and the sound of trucks, motorcycles and emergency vehicles happen day and night. The area by the convention center is empty at night and not safe. It is almost cruel that the hotel charges over $50 per night for parking especially when the surrounding areas are not safe for guests. Finally, the food at the restaurant is terrible. I had the worst chicken soup of my life. It was utterly tasteless and pricey. All in all, not a great experience and I would not stay here again.

great place to stay at It is centrally located, within walking distance to the Civic Central Park. Alas, being America, almost nobody walks and the Central Park area feels like a ghost town, despite the nice buildings and the park. We liked the room and we enjoyed a very tasty dinner and breakfast. The service was prompt and very friendly – a great place to stay at.

Dirty rooms and management did nothing Was give a dirty room and management did nothing by trying to make it right. All they did was give us a similar room which was upsetting. The next room we were given had its own set of problems as well. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else, you won’t regret it
