Niagara Falls, Ontario: Panoramic Views of the Falls near Vegas-Style Casinos and Water Parks

At Niagara Falls, water thunders downward from a height of nearly 200 feet, crashing onto craggy boulders below. The falls straddle the border between Canada and the United States, but the Canadian side of the Niagara River is universally hailed as the finest vantage point to take in all three of Niagara Falls' photogenic brinks: American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls.

Year-round, Journey Behind the Falls grants a glimpse behind the curtain of Horseshoe Falls—visitors board an elevator that descends 150 feet into the bedrock, then stand at an observation deck steps from the cascading water. A 10-minute walk from the falls is the neon-lit Clifton Hill neighborhood. Its Fallsview Boulevard has plenty of Vegas-style kitsch, including glitzy casinos and indoor water parks.

You get what you pay for I guess. They have an ongoing cable issue so TV is fuzzy and not clear and there is nothing they can do for it but are also not upfront about it. Pool wasn't really clean, super cloudy and my kids did not want to swim in it. Room was ok but wallpaper was peeling in many areas. Staff are friendly though but this hotel needs lots of work if it wants clientel to come back.

The hotel was ok. There was a tv in the room but didn't work. The hair dryer didn't work. Was not happy that we had to pay for parking when the parking lot was a completely full of pot holes and dangerous for walking in. Then after we had already left they charged my credit card $8.23/per room and i have no idea what that charge would be for since we had already paid for the room and parking.

Not a nice place to stay don't feel safe During the night one of the hotel staff broke into our room so hard that the security latch was broken. We didn't feel safe after this. The tv is all static. The internet doesn't work. The front staff never answer the telephones

Not recommended Took 20 mins on the phone before someone answered- no tv service - stained rugs! They tried to charge me for parking when the site did not say there was additional parking fees. Had to wait the next morning till 9 o’clock for a manager to discuss my issues with having no TV all night.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! We had a team booking for July 19th, I believe 15 rooms in total. As the team began to arrive they were informing the other team members about the state of the hotel which included mouldy rooms, light fixtures hanging off the walls, holes in the mattresses and the smell of feces in the rooms. As the team arrived they all decided not to check in and the ones that did check in did not stay due to the state of the hotel. As we arrived, we had already decided based on the previous messages that we were not going to stay and risk our health. I tried to call the customer service and ask for a refund to my credit card as it was charged before we arrived as I understood other members who checked in were given a refund or their credit cards had not been charged prior to arrival. I was met with hostility from the front desk staff, speaking in another language right in front of me to someone on the phone I was told was a “manager”. While we waited for the “manager” to arrive, another member of the team arrived to cancel their reservation and was able to without any issues as their credit card had not been charged like mine was. When the “manager” arrived, it wasn’t a manager but another front desk staff and I was told the manger was unavailable and the supervisor had called in sick. Any issues I had and wanting a refund had to be dealt with by a manger who was mysteriously unavailable. I asked when the manager would be in and was told Monday. I left and booked with another hotel without getting a refund. I called on Monday and after about 45 minutes of trying to get through, I was told the manager was not there. This was during business hours and was told he would be there on Tuesday between 9-5. I called again on Tuesday morning around 9:30am and after about an hour of trying to get through and calling from a blocked number, I was again told the manager was “unavailable” and that he should have been there around 9:30 but had not arrived. Upon checking my credit card later, I was given a partial refund. I expect a full refund. They cannot expect people to stay in such filth.
