Kissimmee, Florida: Easy Access to World-Famous Theme Parks and Major Orlando Attractions

Located on the banks of Lake Tohopekaliga, Kissimmee sits about 22 miles from downtown Orlando and less than 5 miles from the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks. The world’s most-visited entertainment resort spans roughly 30,000 acres, encompassing four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, and the Disney Springs® Area. There’s no shortage of things to do here: begin your day at Magic Kingdom® Park by boarding a rocket-shaped three-seater that climbs to 180 feet before entering a deep black tunnel and racing past stars, satellites, and constellations. After that, ride a dune buggy through a haunted mansion. For dinner, head over to Epcot® to sample cuisine from Morocco, Mexico, France, Italy, and several other countries. As one of the most popular family destinations in the world, sunny Orlando is home to other theme parks including Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando.

Those hoping to shake up the typical theme-park-dominated itinerary can head into downtown Orlando's vibrant arts district. The neighborhood boasts venues such as the CityArts Factory, a multifaceted patchwork of gallery spaces, and SAK Comedy Lab, which holds improv shows five nights a week.

Beautiful Resort, But Shockingly Poor Customer Service This resort is undeniably beautiful, but unfortunately, the customer service was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. We were placed on the third floor and immediately asked about the broken elevator upon arrival. We were told it would be fixed that day or the next—but it remained out of service for nearly our entire stay. No real effort was made to accommodate us, despite having a family member with mobility issues who had to manage three flights of stairs multiple times a day. To make matters worse, even simple requests—like getting an additional room key—were met with unhelpful and unfriendly responses. The waterpark staff in particular were noticeably rude, which only added to the frustration. Our family is generally very easygoing and low-maintenance, but this experience left us feeling like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. We ended up having to do a lot of things ourselves that should have been taken care of by the resort staff. Sadly, despite the beautiful setting, I would hesitate to return based on how poorly we were treated.

Terrible stay would not go again One of the rooms in the 3 bedroom villa did not have a curtain and the corridor light was always on so it was always bright and not good for sleep. When asked to take out the trash they never came and when asked to change towels they never took the dirty ones. Bad service.

Awesome Spring Break at Reunion Family had a great time. Everyone enjoyed the water park, miniature golf, children's pool and play area, and the Sandy Ridge swimming pool. There were so many things we could do besides the local theme parks.

Club Wyndham Reunion The resort was very nice. My son loved the pool and water park on property. We had a 3 bedroom overlooking the golf course.

We keep going back for a reason...it's great! I take sixteen guys to Reunion every year for a fellowship tournament and have been for twelve years. The accommodations at Centre Court Ridge are exceptional, the beds/pillows so comfortable and the views are right on the Watson course. The course conditions are consistently great over the 54 holes of golf and the food/drink establishments are a short walk away and also very fine. I keep taking my guys there for a reason. In addition to that the service and support is unparalleled.
