Great for a night We stayed here as a stopping point between Jasper and Edmonton so that we could take our time to explore the Icefields Parkway and the David Thompson. This hotel was a bit confusing at first as there are two beside each other and we didn't know where to go but after we figured it out all was good. Check in was easy, room was clean and a great size (one queen) with a couch and table and chairs. We arrived later in the evening so didn't do much so can't comment on the things around the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was good in the restaurant, they gave you discounted upgrade options if you didn't want what they offering. This was a decent hotel and I would stay again.

Did not deliver on the room that was requested I can give no comments on any of the services and rooms because we never checked in.
On June 14, 2022 I reserved an accessible room for July 8-10, 2022. I was clear that it had to be accessible for my husband. I was told that it would have a king size bed. When I went to check the room, it was NOT an accessible room. The bathroom door was only 28 inches wide, there was not a roll in shower and the toilet seat was standard height. And there was no king size bed. I immediately went to the front desk and said the room was not accessible and I showed them a printed version of my confirmation of booking which showed Accessible.
I was told that the room they assigned us was what THEY considered accessible. I asked in what way they thought it was accessible. They answered that the entry door to the room was wider and had a bigger kick plate. I went back and checked and there was no difference from any other entry door.
Back to the front desk when I am told once more this room was what THEY considered accessible. And they did not have a vacant accessible room. Then it slowly came out that there were other accessible rooms but they were all occupied by longer term guests than we would be.
I told them that if they didn't have any accessible rooms when I phoned, they could have just told me so and I would have found another hotel.
They then offered to refund my money. I asked if they would phone other hotels in the area to see if they had an accessible room. They did and they found one at a higher price which I was forced to take or cancel expensive prepaid vacation plans which would have cost me more.
I recognize that there are many untrained, inexperienced staff working in the hospitality industry because of the pandemic but this mistake in booking an accessible room is not acceptable. At minimum we should be compensated for the more expensive hotel we had to take in order to meet our requirements.

Would book again Stayed one night on our road trip. Room was good. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good as well. Thought it may be a bit noisy as its on the main street but it wasn't. Staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful.

Perfect Overnight Stop Friendly, small town service, free hot breakfast at in house restaurant. Located on main road, comfortable, clean, quiet room. A couple of late night fast food restaurants available, gas stations close by. Perfect for hotel stop on the road, from Vancouver to Red Deer, a couple hours from Calgary. Enjoyed the quiet small town atmosphere.

Great place to stay! Had to get a hotel room for a night because of the weather and they were super helpful, clean and easy to deal with! The restaurant downstairs was amazing and the rooms exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through!
