My room was great, very spacious and a good size balcony with the downtown view. A few issues came up such as water disconnection for several hrs and some other room-related issues but overall all things considered including price, I’d recommend this place.

Cute older hotel with big rooms. This hotel had it all. The staff was great, the room was fantastic and you got an amazing view of downtown from the roof top pool.

Very "OK" I've stayed before and once again had the same experience. The Good: It's convenient and not as expensive as the other more modern hotels in town. Nice to have a balcony. Nice to have a working coffee maker in room. Overall, mostly newer and neat (though there were some ants along the edge of the wall in the living area) The rest of the review is very mixed. The room was huge but oddly chopped up with nooks that had no apparent purpose. How about sticking a coat rack in one? Or at least some hooks/towel racks? How about an extra sink outside the bathroom? What about adding a 2nd full length mirror in another spot? Or a 2nd dresser and microwave? Most recently we stayed in a suite to accommodate another person on a pull out sofa bed. The bed in the bedroom was only a double which was uncomfortably small and too firm. The sheets were scratchy and the pillows were oddly lumpy. There were holes in the drapes. Several times we had to request housekeeping as they never cleaned our room once during our entire stay. Trash was never emptied. We had to request new towels twice. Had to also request sheets and bedding for the pull out sofa. The worst part of the room was the inconsistent hot water. The sink was completely cold water. Even after running the tub water for 10 minutes it never warmed up. Cold to lukewarm showers were the norm -- with a very brief window where the water suddenly got scorching hot (and at least could be adjusted to get my hair washed!) before turning cold again. Other than that, the Playboy legacy is overdone. I would modernize the decor and get rid of most of that except maybe in a select spot in the lobby. Kind of tacky now. Staff was fine. Elevators worked fine. But everything else was a big Meh.

So far not so good Review might change but based on first day+ it’s not been great. Maybe understaffed or disorganized but long waits to check in; staff friendly but don’t always follow through on resolving issues. Even after asking/reminding staff room hadn’t been cleaned-twice, in person- walked into uncleaned room at 9 pm. After explaining situation to desk staff this morning despite reassurance room is only now being cleaned 10:05 am. Will see if matters improve but so far I’m not very impressed nor pleased. This after Many rooms reserved for family wedding celebration weekend!
