Clean, comfy beds, and staff with great customer service skills! Kids loved the waterpark and the arcade vouchers were a big bonus. Waterpark is small enough for our older girls to do their own thing while we tended to the little one. Even the registration staff member said they would use Groupon too if they stayed because it's a much better deal!!!

BEWARE!!! My wife, two young children and myself visited wilderness in the smokies on March 30th. We were there for less than 12 hours before both my kids were puking and bed ridden. The only thing they did that we didn’t was eat the repugnant food being served within the park. After about 10 hours they were both fine, clearly food poisoning. The park itself was severely understaffed and seemingly run by teenagers. There were giant middle-aged men roaming around, drinking well past the point of being drunk in the pools with my children. Once again, being looked after by teenagers that basically did nothing to control the situation. The water quality was murky at best. There was tons of debris, a bloody used bandaid, floating in the pools. I watched several people, including an employee, just step on a nasty pair of underwear left on the ground and keep walking. Empty pizza boxes and chicken tender plates were strewn about all the tables. This place was truly nasty and the establishment doesn’t seem to care. I emailed them voicing my concerns and they didn’t even take the time to respond. I am forced now to contact the department of health. You’d be better served to throw a couple hundred dollars in the trash and avoid the chaos and filth of this place.

Okay Experience The check-in process was easy. The room was clean, but the bathroom was tiny. We paid for a double queen room with a balcony, but we didn't get a balcony. They gave us a small patio instead. The indoor waterpark was fun. The water is cold. They have an option to pay for after hour water park access, and that was great. The hour doesn't include the wave pool FYI. We got to slide all the slides more than once. The Stone Hill Lodge has a restaurant at the front. The food wasn't great. I'd suggest eating at the restaurants nearby. This was our first experience here but probably won't be back.

Downtimes at Wilderness in the Smokies Rooms are extremely small and bedding is uncomfortable. Food prices are unbelievably expensive. Example, two one topping pizzas and two liter of soda was $32 as a “special.” Staff not entirely friendly considering it is a family resort. Always felt things were being pushed on us that we weren’t interested in. Also, they boast a Starbucks’s, but it isn’t full service and is paltry at best. Third time going and continues to worsen. Won’t return
