Excellent hotel within a few minutes walk to Amtrak Station. Whenever I use Amtraks USA Rail Pass I look for hotels within a few blocks from the station. There aren't that many,..so,..I was thrilled to find this highly rated gem in Altoona. The hotel is located within a medical district that was very quiet when I arrived around 6.pm. Everything about the hotel was outstanding for the price I paid. Also,..a major convience store is only 2 blocks away if you want to pick up some snacks and adult beverages.

Needs Better Housekeeping. The hotel has been renovated but they are lacking housekeeping skills, bathrooms and room need a more thorough attention. Dirty shower floors and accumulation of dust on furniture. Altoona is not a hotbed of excitement but was there for a family member in the hospital; needed a refuge when I was not in the hospital visiting to decompress and shower.

Great 2 night stay Clean room with a mini fridge and microwave . All staff very friendly at checkin and throughout our stay. Good breakfast. They sent a confirmation text of our stay and they were very responsive to my questions. Stayed 2 nights. Awesome shower and water pressure! Parking lot well lit. Would stay again if back this way.

The best place to stay when in Altoona, Pa. Love staying at this hotel, great location. Pleasant staff at check in and check out. Our king room had a comfortable bed with good pillows, large bathroom with also a large shower. Good control of heat/cooling, quiet too. We stay here every time we visit the Altoona area. Breakfast looked OK, but skipped it this stay.

Overall good stay Check -in was fast, easy and pleasantly surprised with welcoming receptionists. Lobby was clean, bright & decorated for fall. Elevators were fast and clean. Room was spacious but satins in rug, bathroom floor was very sticky (shoes sticking to floor) we wiped down with a rag and it was fine. We headed out right after arriving so didn’t want cleaning service coming in at the time. Morning : shower water temp was cool, empty shampoo dispenser in shower. We used our travel shampoo. Bed was firm, pillows are small. Breakfast hit the spot. Coffee was tasty & hot. Did not visit pool but looked nice. Overall good visit. We’d stay again.
