Great for business! Home away from home My company booked this hotel for me for a short term work assignment and I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend! It felt like home away from home. The room was very clean and VERY SPACIOUS; with a full kitchen and appliances. There are pots, pans, plates, cups, and cooking utensils but no baking sheet tray for baking unfortunately. There was a dishwasher; which unfortunately in room 123E didn’t seem to work after trying to run it to help keep things tidy before I checked out. The bedroom was spacious, with a locking door (made me feel safe as a female traveling solo), and had a comfortable king sized bed. I appreciated the amount of pillows provided and sheets. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. I did use the gym a couple times which I appreciated having while on a work assignment since I wouldn’t have been able to maintain my routine otherwise. I didn’t love the “old stale” smell of the room, I like rooms having ventilation or fresh smelling, but not that big of a deal.
Major con- paying for WiFi each day did put a damper on the stay. In this day and age, this should be a free amenity. It is a NECESSITY, especially when you’re out in the middle of nowhere with limited signal.

Vacation at Clearlake. Nice vacation enjoyed the location. Has fishing pier and dock. Boat ramp and charging station for boats with trolling motor batteries. Playground for kids, tennis, basketball and horseshoes.

A good spot to stay for fishing and boating. The unit and the grounds were well maintained. A car is definitly needed to see the area. I expect that if you have a boat or love fishing this the place for you. Not much going on in March.

Fishing, boating, relaxing. If you want to use your boat, fish, or just relax. This is a good resort. Limited scheduled activities on-site. Several small restaurants close by. Definitely need a car. Reasonable grocery store 10 minutes from resort. Kitchen well supplied. Minimal towels and bedding supplied initially. Request required for additional blankets or towels.

Beautiful retreat like grounds, but not much to do in the winter time. The grounds and lake area are beautiful to enjoy, however there's not much else to do aside from the pool/hot tub and games at the lodge. Minimal area restaurants close quite early, we only found the Fosters Freeze and Dollar General open in the early afternoon.
Towels were scarce our 1 Bdrm for 4 only had 2 sets of towels. Also better planning when assigning rooms can be done to not put young children above guest who do not have children with them. We heard constant running early in the morning and late into the evenings.
