Hotel at a Glance: Cape Codder Resort & Spa
The spirit of Cape Cod lives in the Cape Codder Resort & Spa, both inside and out. There’s a handpainted mural of the surrounding seascape on the walls surrounding the indoor wave pool and 24-person hot tub, showing lighthouses and sand dunes topped with seagrass. In front of the mural stands a replica of a ship with two water slides shooting out the front.
- Enjoy hearty chowder and seafood at the onsite Hearth ‘n Kettle restaurant.
- A $50 spa credit per night (cannot be combined), and $20 dining credit per night is included with options 2–4.
- Wine and dine at the Mediterranean-style Grand Cru Wine Bar & Grill, which serves choice cuts of beef and fresh seafood, as well as more than 20 different wines by the glass.
- Go for a swim in the Rainbow Falls heated outdoor pool, open year-round, or the Cape Codder indoor wave pool with 2-foot waves and 80-foot water slides.
- Pamper yourself with a manicure, Warm Seashell massage, or Himalayan Salt Wrap at the Beach Plum Spa (a $50 daily spa credit is included with some options).
- Holiday cheer: If you visit before January 3, you’ll catch the Enchanted Village, which consists of topiary animals, elaborate light displays, and weekend visits from Santa and carolers.
- Dinner-theater shows, with comedians and musicians, will hit the stage on select Saturday nights starting January 23. (additional charges apply)
- ** Deluxe Double-Queen and Deluxe King Rooms** are located on the 1st and 2nd floors, facing the parking lot. Some 2nd floor rooms are located in areas without elevator access. Please inform the hotel of any difficulty with stairs.
- Outdoor Pool-View Rooms are located on the 1st or 2nd floor, facing the year-round outdoor pool. All 2nd floor pool facing rooms are elevator accessible.
Cape Cod, Massachusetts: Quaint Villages, Protected Beaches, and Miles of Shoreline
In the late 19th century, Cape Cod began to blossom into a summer vacation destination as visitors swapped crowded coastal cities for the sandy shores of eastern Massachusetts. Today, the arm-shaped peninsula encompasses a string of idyllic fishing villages, rolling dunes, and 300 miles of sandy shoreline—and it’s still the place where many East Coasters choose to spend their leisurely summer days. Popular attractions include fresh-seafood restaurants, quaint stores, and bicycle trails, such as the 11-mile Shining Sea Bikeway that wends from North Falmouth to Woods Hole.
But there’s also plenty to do in winter, when the crowds are a lot smaller. Enjoy one of the many area museums, such as the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, Cahoon Museum of American Art, or JFK Hyannis Museum. Catch a nearby ferry to take a trip to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard. Or head to the uppermost tip of the Cape, where the free-spirited art colony of Provincetown attracts visitors year-round. This is one of the best places to head for a vibrant nightlife scene—there are cabarets, bars, and lounges aplenty.
Located along the southern part of the cape, Hyannis is a small village with excellent shopping. It’s the home of the Cape Cod Mall, the largest retail center in the region, and the town’s charming Main Street is lined with small boutiques.
