Known as the Cradle of Western Civilization, Athens has a wealth of historic and intellectual attractions. Though many of the most popular attractions are in ruins, such as the Acropolis, there’s still a modern feel to many of the local museums and galleries. After 3 nights in Athens, you’ll spend 1 night each in the ancient cities of Olympia and Delphi on this 7-day tour of Greece’s archaeological wonders.
- Day 1: Board your overnight flight to Greece.
- Day 2: Arrive in Athens.
- Day 3: Visit the Acropolis Museum and take a walking tour of the city.
- Day 4: Take a scenic coastal drive, stopping at the Acropolis of Mycenae and the Tomb of Atreus on the way to Olympia.
- Day 5: Tour Olympia's archaeological site, including the Temple of Zeus, before traveling to Delphi.
- Day 6: Tour the excavated UNESCO World Heritage Site of ancient Delphi before returning to Athens.
