You’ll have 9 days to see some of Italy’s most famous landmarks. Visit the pink marble Doge’s Palace in Venice, stand before the statues of the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence, and tour the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo’s incomparable Sistine Chapel in Rome. You’ll have plenty of time to explore each destination on your own and stay at 4-star hotels.
- Day 1: Depart for Italy.
- Day 2: Arrive in Venice and spend the day at leisure.
- Day 3: In the morning, go on a guided tour of Venice; afternoon is free.
- Day 4: Travel to Florence by rail, then spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Day 5: View the statues of the Loggia dei Lanzi and the magnificent Duomo during a walking tour of Florence. The tour does not include entry to any landmarks.
