This 9-day guided tour of Israel from Gate 1 Travel starts off in Tel Aviv before heading to the Galilee Region, and Jerusalem. As you travel, it seems every step you take is along the same paths once traveled by kings, prophets, and crusaders alike.
- Day 1: Take an overnight flight to Israel.
- Day 2: Arrive in Tel Aviv and enjoy the rest of the day on your own.
- Day 3: Transfer to Tiberias see Roman and Byzantine ruins in Caesarea along the way.
- Day 4: Enjoy Galilee on a full-day tour. You’ll cross to ancient Capernaum, from there you’ll visit the site of the multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes (John 6), and many others.
- Day 5: See the Yardenit Baptismal Site, explore the impressive archaeological site of Beit She’an and continue to the Mount of Olives and Garden Tomb in Jerusalem.
- Day 6: In Jerusalem explore the Via Dolorosa and Church of the Holy Sepulchre during the Old City tour.
- Day 7: See ancient artifacts at Israel Museum and pause at Yad Vashem to acknowledge 6 million Jews who died in WWII.
