The Golden Nugget Hotel has many of the attractions Las Vegas is known for—a casino, a spa, high-end restaurants and lounges—but there’s one thing here that you won’t find anywhere else: a 200,000-gallon shark tank. Situated in the center of the heated outdoor pool, this enormous enclosure is filled with live sharks that you can watch while kicking back with a cocktail. You can even swim next to the creatures while staying on the safe side of a see-through dividing wall.
The hotel resides on Fremont Street, one of Vegas’s most iconic thoroughfares. The Strip is visible from select Rush Tower rooms, which are 20% larger than Gold Tower and Carson Tower rooms.
