• Ratchada Grand Theatre (Bangkok): Its nightly Siam Niramit show recounts 700 years of history with elaborate sets, special effects, and more than 100 performers—including elephants.
• Wat Phra Thong (Phuket): This temple houses a golden Buddha, but you can only see its head and torso. Legend has it that illness will befall those who try to unearth any more of the gilded statue.
