About Greenleaf State Park

Nestled among rolling hills, Greenleaf State Park's cabins act as telescopes that see through time, allowing guests to glimpse the pristine landscapes of Greenleaf Lake and the Arkansas River. One of Oklahoma's seven original state parks, Greenleaf’s cabins and facilities took shape with help of the Civilian Conservation Corps and Works Progress Administration in the 1930s, using native materials. Today, during the summer months, a marina rents out boats and watercraft so that guests can skirt across the tranquil waterways, and a fishing pier and swim beach hold the key to simple pleasures and relief from the sun’s rays. In winter, provided heaters and fireplaces warm cozy stone cabins and snow covers the surrounding forested hills. Regardless of the season, ADA-accessible hiking trails meander through the park, and kids’ programs keep tykes entertained so that parents can enjoy some quiet time to hone their story about why Santa needs gluten-free cookies this year.
