Separated by less than 9 miles, Spain and Morocco sit at the crossroads between Europe and Africa. The close distance has linked the countries and their respective cultures through the centuries. This trip, whether you choose the Spain and Morocco option or the Morocco-only option, includes stops in Morocco’s best-known cities: Casablanca (the country’s economic and cultural center), Fez (famous for more than the hats), and Marrakech (famous for its maze of markets, squares, and gardens).

9-Day Morocco Itinerary
  • Day 1: Board an overnight flight to Casablanca.
  • Day 2: Arrive in Casablanca and transfer to the hotel.
  • Day 3: Take a tour of the city and see the Royal Palace and more.
  • Day 4: Spend the whole day touring the religious capital of Morocco—Fez—where you’ll see the Nejjarine Fountain and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum.
  • Day 5: Head to Rabat and visit the Royal Palace, then travel to Marrakech, nicknamed “The Pearl of the South.”
  • Day 6: See the Menara gardens, Saadia Tombs, and Bahia Palace in Marrakech, then visit Jemaa el-Fna Square, known for its nonstop entertainment.
  • Days 7 and 8: Spend these days at leisure.
  • Day 9: Fly back to the U.S.
13-Day Spain and Morocco Itinerary
  • Day 1: Board an overnight flight to Spain.
  • Day 2: Arrive in Madrid.
