Brazil’s capital city, Rio de Janeiro, might be best known for its white-sand beaches and vibrant nightlife, but that’s not all the Marvelous City has to offer. This trip from Kaypi Peru Tours takes you high above the city and into the verdant mountains to visit the famous Christ the Redeemer, a 98-foot-tall statue of Jesus Christ standing with his arms outstretched. Should you choose the 12-day tour, you’ll continue your journey to Peru, where you’ll see Machu Picchu’s ancient stone sculptures, ornate palaces, and rock-carved terraces that were used for irrigation.
