7-Night Caribbean Cruise Aboard Luxury Ship

Travelers stay in posh accommodations aboard the MSC Divina as it cruises the Caribbean Sea for seven nights after debarking from Miami. There are two separate departure dates available, each with its own itinerary. March 1, 2014 Departure

  • Days 1–3: At Sea: The ship debarks from Miami and heads south through the Caribbean. The vessel’s lavish accommodations include staircases that sparkle with Swarovski crystals, an infinity pool, and more than a hundred fountains.
  • Day 4: Philipsburg: Your first port-of-call is this capital of Sint Maarten, on the Dutch side of the St. Martin island. You can hop off to explore the old-world architecture that lines the cobblestone streets here on the Dutch side. Head to Marigot—a city on the island’s French half, you can pick up some local souvenirs.
  • Day 5: San Juan, Puerto Rico: One of the oldest cities in the United States’ territories, San Juan offers a wealth of historical landmarks. Old San Juan is more than 450 years old. Climb to the top of El Morro fort at the San Juan National Historic Site to see 16th-century cannons and sweeping ocean views. Or, head further inland for a guided tour of the rainforest.
  • Days 6–7: Great Stirrup Cay, Return to Miami: This private resort island offers a welcome oasis with pristine beaches and on-site watersports. Optional excursions include a kayak tour or snorkeling in a sunken ship.<p>

  • Day 3: Falmouth, Jamaica: Stop off on Jamaica’s northern coast, where you can check out the Dunn’s River Falls, or raft down the Martha Brae River.
  • Day 4: Georgetown, Grand Cayman Islands: This island capital is best known for its Seven Mile Beach, which Travel + Leisure named one of the world’s best beaches.
  • Day 5: Cozumel, Mexico: Colorful coral reefs and schools of exotic fish surround this island, making snorkeling a popular pursuits. You can also explore the Mayan Ruins in San Gervasio.
