On this escorted tour, vacationers will visit the Central American countries of El Salvador and Guatemala with plenty of time for leisure. They’ll tour small towns and farms where coffee beans grow, and walk along the craters of once active volcanoes. And they’ll even enjoy the fresh food and markets of Guatemala City, with optional tours available for an additional cost.
- Day 1: Depart for San Salvador and arrive at your hotel.
- Day 2: Enjoy a full-day tour of Volcanoes National Park in Izalco, with a visit to a local coffee farm and processing facility. Stay overnight in Ataco.
- Day 3: Depart for Honduras for a tour of the Copan Ruins, the remnants of an ancient Mayan city. Return and stay overnight in San Salvador.
- Day 4: Depart for Guatemala City.
- Day 5: Day at leisure in Guatemala City, with optional tour of Antigua for an additional cost.
