Days 1–5: Cape Town

Cape Town has more than its fair share of jaw-dropping scenery. The city, which sits on South Africa’s Cape Peninsula, boasts golden Atlantic beaches, dazzling botanical gardens, and Table Mountain National Park, a flattop mountain with unrivaled city views. • Three days at leisure: After an included orientation tour, your itinerary in Cape Town is entirely up to you! Spend your time hiking rugged trails, shopping along the trendy V&A Waterfront, or simply wandering the city’s storied streets.
• Must-see attraction: About an hour outside of the city, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve features zebras, ostriches, and bamboos, as well as Cape Point, a scenic cliff at the tip of the peninsula.

Days 6–9: Kruger National Park
