The wooden floor in the lobby of the historic Esmeralda Inn & Restaurant holds a notable distinction: Patrick Swayze danced on it in Dirty Dancing. Established in 1891 and fully renovated in 1997, the inn received the floor as a donation. The property has always had a Hollywood connection: Clark Gable, Mary Pickford, and Gloria Swanson were regular guests here at one time, and several silent movies were filmed onsite. Today, the beautifully restored building features an onsite spa, a huge stone patio out back, and luxe-rustic decor.
