110-acre theme park houses thousands of crocodiles & alligators under 7-leg zipline adventure that soars above lush habitats
Ziplines originally were invented for just two functions: sneaking hamburgers over the Berlin Wall and zazzing up presidential entrances to State of the Union addresses. Explore an entertaining alternative with today's Groupon: for $34, you get admission for one person and a Screamin' Gator Zip Line adventure (up to a $69.99 value) at Gatorland.
Gatorland's theme park stretches across 110 marshy acres of wildlife preserve, home to a vast ecosystem populated by thousands of alligators, crocodiles, and birds. Visitors can explore a variety of family-friendly attractions, scanning the swampy majesty of the breeding marsh, climbing the observation tower, sojourning to the petting zoo, or practicing chirps and wing-flaps inside the aviary. Guests begin the seven-part Screamin' Gator Zip Line at a 75-foot-tall tower, from which they glide safely and securely over an exhibit of Nile and jumping Cuban crocodiles. Bodies continue soaring nearly 600 feet through thick pine trees over the breeding marsh, and touch down near the gator-wrestling arena. The remainder of the trip includes a swinging bridge and a double zipline where duos race to determine who has to help an alligator floss that evening. Envoys can also safely experience up-close encounters with snakes and other creepy creatures in the care of an experienced handler, or milder meetings with cuddly baby animals throughout the park.
Although Gatorland sometimes features a discounted price for certain visitors, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.

About Gatorland
The only way to get into Gatorland is to walk straight into an alligator's toothy maw. The giant mouth provides entrance to 110 acres of marshy wildlife preserve––home to a vast ecosystem populated by thousands of alligators, crocodiles, and birds, including rare wading birds and four rare white alligators. Among these, more than 130 gators splash and lounge in the park’s breeding marsh, which visitors can view safely from a three-story observation tower or while sitting on the shoulders of Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
Yet one of the biggest thrills of Gatorland is the reptile's raw power. Visitors can see this on full display during the Gator Jumparoo show, where alligators leap four to five feet out of the water to snag food directly from a trainer’s hands, or during the Legends: Alligators of the Swamp Show, guests can learn all about these amazing creatures. True thrill-seekers can even glide over the breeding marsh while riding the 65-foot-tall Screamin’ Gator Zip Line. And to experience the unsettling sensation of stumbling upon a swamp filled with alligators at night, the Night Shine experience takes participants deep into gator territory armed with only a flashlight and a few hot dogs.
