A dazzlingly funny romantic comedy from MacArthur "Genius Grant" winner (not to mention Tony Award nominee and two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist) Sarah Ruhl, Stage Kiss tells the story of two ex-lovers whose dormant passion for each other is reignited when they're cast as the romantic leads in a play. Starring opposite each other in this long-forgotten 1930s melodrama has these two quickly losing touch with reality, as their onstage story begins to mirror their real lives offstage -- and the difference between a stage kiss and a real one becomes hard to distinguish. This production of Stage Kiss at the Geffen Playhouse's Gil Cates Theater is directed by award-winning Bart DeLorenzo.
