About Germaine's Luau

For over 40years, Germaine's Luau has been welcoming guests and turning visitors into "Ohana", or extended family. Located on a private beachfront property on the West Side of Oahu, they will greet you with shell leis, take your photo, and direct you to your seats on the warm sand. At the sounding of the conch shell, the festivities begin to heat up. Starting with the Royal Court Procession, we invite you to witness the unveiling of the "Kalua pua'a" or roasted pig, from the underground oven or "imu ceremony", your feast awaits. After your island style buffet meal, dancers in traditional Polynesian attire from the different islands fill the stage, and the exciting and dangerous Fire Knife dancer will be featured to illuminate the star studded sky. There will be opportunities for you to learn to dance the hula or Tahitian dance, so don't be afraid to participate! It's all in fun and part of a great island experience you won't soon forget.
