This is a great alternative to Zipcar. No membership fee, and low hourly rates make it cheaper.

The concept is great but the execution is a bit complicated the first time. There is an email to send about any notes on the car but it's not intuitive and I also was unable to unlock the car and had to look up a number to call. Luckily they could unlock it immediately and I wasn't late to work but still a bit stressful.

Lot of variability between vehicle conditions, availability of owner, rental terms, parking situation, etc. The app directed me to a location a few blocks from the car, which was updated closer to the rental time, but was inconvenient as I was walking. In the snow. Perhaps a good alternative to Zipcar but still not cheaper than a traditional rental contract, and definitely not worth the hassle.
