By slightly bending the edges of the display forward, a curved TV mimics the shape of the eye to fill up more of your field of view. The curved angle also helps deflect sunbeams and lamplight to minimize distracting onscreen glare.

Intense Color and Realistic Depth

OLED display lighting generates color with such intensity and accuracy that you can see details as nuanced as the shades of black in a panther’s fur, or the dusky purples and bronzy oranges in a brilliant sunset. Unlike displays that use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to illuminate pixels from behind, OLED technology relies on organic molecules in the display layer that glow with brilliant color as electricity runs through them. They also turn off completely when it stops, thus achieving true blacks in individual pixels. This allows for vivid color and sharp contrast, as well as a thin, energy-efficient TV overall.
