Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition

The Mortal Kombat franchise experienced a critical and commercial resurgence with the release of 2011’s Mortal Kombat, a game that went back to basics in both title and gameplay. This special edition includes 15 Klassic skins and four playable bonus characters, features that were only available previously through separate DLC packs.

Gameplay

Tournament-style bouts—one-on-one and tag team—find the game’s diverse cast of characters battling to the finish over three rounds. Signature fighting maneuvers specific to each fighter give way to the franchise’s classic finishing moves, none of which involve killing ‘em with kindness. 

Environment

Arenas, dungeons, and otherworldly expanses set the stage for every battle, rendered in a 2.5D presentation that runs at 60 frames per second. This results in fast, responsive gameplay, as well as surroundings more immersive than in previous titles.

Bonus Film and CD

A digital copy of the action-packed 1995 Mortal Kombat film is bundled with the game, as is 2011’s Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors, which features original tracks from Skrillex, Congorock, and Sound of Stereo.
