Planting Instructions

• Plant in spring after the last frost (soil temp at least 65F)
• Clear and prepare a suitable garden bed in full or partial sun
• Check package instructions for sun requirement
• Roll out the mat, placing green side towards the ground
• Cover mat with 1/2” of clean dirt or potting soil
• Water immediately, then at least twice a day
• Keep surface area moist

• Different seed varieties will bloom at different times
• Flowers will bloom between summer and fall
• Light requirements: full sun
• Stems will vary from 6”–24”
• Most flowers are annuals
• Be patient; sprouts will grow in weed like appearance after 2–4 weeks depending on water and soil temperature
• Flowers will bloom 6–7 weeks after sprouting
• Two weeks after blooming flowers should be cut to encourage further growth
• Cooler soil temperature will slow growth
• Can be planted in any region of the US
