Located at the Johnson Space Center, Gilruth Fitness Center boasts indoor and outdoor facilities. Rows upon rows of cardio and weight machines greet visitors in the Strength & Cardio Center, and bikes and exercise balls dwell in the mirrored spinning studio. In the Outer Space weight room, TRX straps, ropes, and tractor tires teach exercisers how to conjure tractor parts with their brain muscles, and yoga and Pilates practitioners beeline toward the tranquil Inner Space studio. A basketball court and gymnasium and a versatile hardwood class studio are among the rest of Gilruth's indoor offerings. Outside, exercisers bound across two jogging trails, and a sports park.
