Who Will Be Teaching My Child?

• Hi there! My name is Bryce Ferguson, a 4th degree black belt and lifetime member of the American Taekwondo Association (ATA). I have over 15 years of training in multiple martial arts styles and a decade of teaching experience as an ATA-certified instructor. I hold 6 State and District titles and a World Champion title in Weapons forms, earned over an 11-year competition career.
• After instructing at multiple schools over the past few years, this past summer, I achieved my dream of opening my own Taekwondo school. I am thrilled to share my knowledge and passion with my students, and I look forward to working with you and your child to meet your specific needs.

I've Thought About Martial Arts, But I Don't Know What It's All About.

• That's okay! Most people who want to start don't have any experience in any martial art discipline at all! Here's a popular mantra that holds true to everything we do: "You don't have to be great to start, you have to start to be great."
• Taekwondo is one of the BEST martial arts for kids and new students, as it is inherently very easy to pick up, and the culture of the sport instills both self-confidence and discipline into everything your child will do.
• Our mission is to build champions beyond the belt, not just into great Martial Artists, but into incredibly well-rounded members of society.

What Can I Expect During the Trial Period?

• Your first trial class is always an Introductory lesson, one-on-one with the Owner and Chief Instructor, Mr. Ferguson.
• We will go through your goals for your child, why you want him/her to start martial arts, take a tour of the studio, and, of course, complete your first lesson. The full appointment will be about 45 minutes.
• After your lesson, your child will jump right into our group classes to finish out the remainder of your trial. This will help you put our classes into your schedule to see how it feels to add it to your routine and to decide for yourself if we're the right academy for you.

Who Can Participate?

• We offer Taekwondo classes to all ages! However, this specific Groupon is available to kiddos 14 and under.
• Our Preschool Program, ATA Tigers, is engineered for ages 3-6. The 30-minute class teaches your child body coordination, listening skills, and teamwork and cooperation in the class setting. It's the perfect supplement for your little ones going into school soon!
• The Black Belt Club is our "big kids' class"! Ages 6+. This longer, 50-minute class focuses much more on the Martial Arts and developing an understanding of our Life Skills we teach, such as Honesty, Communication, Belief, and more.
