Begin your trip from Ringoes, NJ, or Flemington, NJ, and experience all that Hunterdon county has to offer from a new point-of-view: by rail!

During the journey, climb aboard a vintage train and experience the picturesque views of Hunterdon County. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, such as deer and birds, who live in the woods you'll travel through (it is the Garden State, after all!). Whether you begin your trip from Flemington or Ringoes, the ride is about 20 minutes in each direction, plus a 15-20 minute stop to turn the train around.

From the train, you'll cross the Third Neshanic Trestle, and as the train slows down, you can enjoy the scenic view from forty feet above the river. Take a look at Hog Town, the station that once upon a time housed the neighborhood delinquents while they weren't busy participating in the Great Train Robbery! Get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at Pumpkin Junction at Everitt Farms as the family-owned business prepares to grow and harvest pumpkins for the upcoming Fall season. This is just the beginning of the magical sights you'll see that make Hunterdon County one of the most incredible places to live and visit in the state and the entire world!
