What You’ll Do:
Even with a Great Lake on its shoulder, Chicago can seem far from the outdoors. Luckily the Tippecanoe River is only a round-trip chartered bus ride away, and there’s plenty of room on its shores for a taco bar. Float down the serene river for three hours before drying off for an afternoon park fun in the sun.
-
Sip Drinks on the Tippecanoe
Guests can bring non-glass beverages, snacks, and a cooler (though floating coolers are available to rent) so they can enjoy drinks as they float along the currents. -
Feast on Tacos from Poblano’s Mexican Grill
Beans, ground beef, shredded chicken, taco toppings, and chips and queso await tubers in a private pavilion. -
Play the Afternoon Away
After docking your tube, compete alongside fellow guests in bouts of basketball and volleyball, or go soaring down a slip-n-slide.
