Cardinals Kids Clinics
Since 2000, the St. Louis Cardinals have made 10 playoff appearances, including four trips to the Fall Classic and a pair of World Series titles—clearly, they are a top-tier organization. Throughout July, one of baseball’s most successful franchises will invite the game’s future stars and most promising pitching machines to locations around the city for one-day clinics.
During each clinic, young ballplayers from 7 to 13 will learn baseball fundamentals from former Cardinals players and coaches. They’ll also be able to collect autographs from the clinic’s instructors, plus have chances to win prizes and Cardinals memorabilia. Afterward, every camper will head home with a Cardinals T-shirt, cap, goodie bag, and two tickets to a 2014 Cardinals regular-season game.
St. Louis Cardinals
With 11 World Series titles under their belts, the St. Louis Cardinals have thrilled hometown crowds with more than a century of on-field excellence. Opened in 2006, the current Busch Stadium greets each guest with stunning views of the Gateway Arch, treating them to foot-long hot dogs and mile-long bratwursts from the concession stands. Cards fans can also snap photos of the verdant natural-grass field and the view from one of the stadium’s 46,000 seats, or create their own Fredbird at a Build-a-Bear station.
