What You’ll Do

While scouring NYC’s beading district for stones and findings, artist Debbe Heller often muses about one of jewelry-making’s best-kept secrets: it’s actually pretty easy to create earrings and necklaces that look catalogue-worthy. During her two-hour class, she’ll reveal how, teaching kids and adults alike the tenets of design in her private studio.

  • Jewelry-Making 101
Debbe Heller introduces jewelry-making tools, necessary design concepts, and the techniques for choosing the best materials for your vision.
  • Expand Your Wardrobe
Kids create necklaces, chokers, earrings, and bracelets, while adults fashion their own jewelry out of freshwater pearls, precious and semi-precious stones, bali silver, and unique findings.

  • Parting Items
Everyone will take home the pieces of jewelry they create, and hopefully a new hobby.
