What You’ll Do
Creating something with your bare (or not-so-bare) hands can be exhilarating, especially if you’re forging it at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. An expert glass artist helps students do exactly that during his two-hour hands-on workshops, which give participants the power to bend glass to their will.

Learn from Glass-Blowing Experts
The instructors at East Falls Glassblowing boast of a half-century of experience among them. During this class, one of the talented staffers will show you the ins and outs of transforming molten glass into art in the studio’s 800-pound furnace. -
Craft a Beautiful Bauble
With guidance from an expert, make your choice of either a paperweight or a glass-ball ornament. -
Too Hot to Handle
Because the finished artworks will still clock in at 1,000 degrees at the end of the session, they’ll need time to cool. Participants can return a week after the session to pick them up or pay a flat fee of $15 to have the finished product shipped.
