1. How long does a visit take?

To make the most of your visit, we recommend allowing 60-90 minutes to enjoy all offerings and experiences. Your journey to Edge begins on Level 4 where you can enjoy our multimedia experience and can take up to 30-60 minutes to get to the elevator. After a 52-second elevator ride, you will arrive on Level 100, where you can enjoy the indoor and outdoor sky decks, sip a glass of champagne or cocktail in the sky, grab a bite to eat at our café, discover our seasonal activations, walk on the thrilling glass floor, sit on the Skyline Seats and so much more.

2. Is Edge appropriate for all ages?

Yes, everyone can enjoy the thrill of visiting Edge! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult during their visit. Children 5 years old or younger do not need a ticket and may visit Edge when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

3. What floor is Edge located on?

Your Edge adventure begins on the 4th floor of The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards, where you enter into a multimedia experience. Our high speed elevators will then take you up to Level 100 in only 52 seconds. On Level 100 you will discover our indoor and outdoor sky decks, where you will be able to enjoy 360-degree views of New York City, 1,100 feet into the air. 

4. What if the day I plan to visit Edge there is zero visibility due to weather?

Edge is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, regardless of weather conditions. In the case of inclement weather, portions of the outdoor sky deck may be closed for safety reasons. Guests will be advised about weather conditions and visibility prior to entry. New York City does experience inconsistent weather conditions from time to time. However since weather conditions fluctuate and visibility can improve very quickly, we advise all of our guests to arrive for their ticketed time.

5. Can I bring my pet?

Only service animals are permitted on Edge

6. Are food and drinks available?

There is no outside food and drink permitted at Edge, however, water in clear plastic bottles are allowed. Glass bottles are strictly prohibited. We have a Champagne bar that offers an assortment of snacks and beverage options. Please be respectful of other Edge guests when eating and drinking.
