About El Paso County Fair
Over 100 years ago, the El Paso County Fair started out as a humble potato festival where people came by covered wagon and horseback to celebrate the year's harvest. Today, the fair has grown to so much more as the grounds feature 40 acres of entertainment from car shows to creative arts and crafts. The food options, meanwhile, have come a long way since the days of the potato with essential carnival fare such as corn dogs and funnel cakes.
- Carnival: dozens of rides both big and small including many of the classic carnival rides
- Demolition Derby: competitors smash and bash each other in small trucks and compact cars with live music afterwards
- Kids Contests: whether it's dancing or playing an instrument, 10 talented youths aged 5-14 showcase their skills for the crowd
