Formula Drift Orlando
With last year’s inaugural World Championship in the rearview mirror, the race is on for Formula Drift Orlando as the current champs face off against rising rookies. Frederic “The Norwegian Hammer” Aasbo is at the top of the heap—for now, at least—but contenders such as Japan’s Ken Gushi and Baltimore’s Chris Forsberg are revving hard on his tail. These reigning champs will face off against challengers from around the world. What they’ll be judged on? Their ability to stay precisely within the drift lines, their penchant for hanging extreme angles, how smooth and stylish their run was, and, in case of a tie, whoever can drive farthest blindfolded.
