The Greensboro Swarm

The Greensboro Swarm begin their G-League season with new head coach Joe Wolf, a former NBA player and ACC standout with UNC Chapel Hill. The 13th overall pick in the 1987 draft joins the organization after spending time honing his coaching chops with stints as an assistant in the NBA and most recently as an assistant coach at UNC Wilmington. He takes the helm as the Hornets take on a renewed focus on developing players to make them NBA-ready. That includes players like J.P. Macura, a guard from Xavier who recently signed a two-way contract. Macura and the Swarm take on teams such as the Austin Spurs, the defending G-League champions.
