Concert Options

• Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center: Dvorák, Chausson, and Schubert (November 17 at 7:30 p.m.): a trio of compositions from three of classical music’s most legendary names, including Schubert and his leisurely Trout Quintet
• Regino Torino: William Tell (December 3 at 7 p.m.): The overture to Rossini’s 1829 opera about the legendary marksman enjoyed new life in the 20th century when it served as the theme song of The Lone Ranger radio show. Now, the entire work gets performed in Italian by one of Italy’s oldest and most renowned opera companies in what’s sure to be an unforgettable American debut.
• Chicago Children’s Choir and Sphinx Virtuosi (December 10 at 7:30 p.m.): Sphinx Virtuosi, an ensemble of young African American and Latino string players, join the equally diverse Chicago Children’s choir for an evening of holiday songs
• Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center: Brandenburg Concertos (December 18 at 7:30 p.m.): for the second December in a row, CMSLC performs all six of Bach’s elegant Brandenburg’s concertos, making the performance an unconventional holiday staple
