What You'll Do

The innovative practice of 3D printing starts with a 3D CAD model, which allows any object of the imagination to come to life, from a cookie cutter to something as complex as a prototype for a new product. During this event, the experts lecture on and demonstrate three different pieces of software: 123D Catch, Tinkercad, and Fusion 360. Event-goers will be able to watch a model take shape on a 3D printer live, layer by layer. You'll also get the chance to ask questions of Autodesk's team, who are some of the leaders in the world of CAD software. HoneyPoint3D will be on hand to answer questions about 3D printing.

  • 3D Printing Lectures
    The Autodesk experts demonstrate how to make 3D models with cellphone cameras and use software programs, including Autodesk's software, Fusion 360.

  • Up-Close Demos
    Attendees can watch running 3D printers from HoneyPoint3D and live 3D modeling from Autodesk.

  • Tour the Gallery
    Autodesk's team takes participants on a tour of their gallery, which includes 20 exhibits featuring works from companies such as Lego and Sony Pictures.

  • Eat and Drink
    Light refreshments are provided.
