Spring has arrived, and that means one thing – polo season is back in full swing! Time to dust off those crisp whites, sip some champagne, and enjoy the heart-pounding action of galloping ponies and fierce competition. Whether you're a seasoned polo fan or just here for the divot stomp (we see you), these matches are not to be missed.

April 6 – Douglas Elliman Classic (5 PM)

Dress to Impress! Wear your polo whites and strut your best outfit – the winner gets bragging rights (and maybe a prize). Enjoy a player parade, live music, expert commentary, and of course, the legendary champagne divot stomp at halftime. Don’t miss the special trophy presentation! Hungry? April 13 – General George S. Brown Cup (5 PM)

Double the action, double the fun! This USPA double-header is a battle for glory, with speeding ponies, determined players, and edge-of-your-seat excitement. Catch the player parade, live music, and expert commentary before joining the champagne divot stomp at halftime. The Lymbar will be on-site with a menu full of winning choices!

April 20 – Bluebonnet Cup (Easter Sunday, 5 PM)

12-goal polo is ON! Flip through the latest 2025 Houston Magazine, spot your favorite players, and cheer them on! Plus, don’t forget to enter the Best Dressed Couple Contest—Easter fashion at its finest. Expect all the usual polo fanfare: player parade, live music, halftime divot stomp, and a special trophy presentation. And yes, The Lymbar’s food and drinks will be flowing!

May 25 – USPA Congressional Cup (5 PM)

Get ready for non-stop action! 12-goal polo means every minute counts, and you won’t want to miss a second. Polo trivia contest with prizes—test your knowledge and win! Plus, all the polo favorites: player parade, live music, halftime divot stomp, and a special trophy presentation. The Lymbar will be serving up some game-winning bites and beverages.

June 1 – Livingston Memorial Cup (5:30 PM)

The heat is on, and these teams are bringing the fire! High-stakes polo, heart-racing plays, and an electrifying atmosphere—this one’s for the fans! Enjoy the player parade, live music, halftime champagne divot stomp, and special trophy presentation. Need a break? The Lymbar will keep you refreshed and refueled.

June 8 – USPA NYTS Tournament (5:30 PM)

It’s a sizzling double-header! Four teams, one title—who will claim the victory? Witness the best ponies and players battle it out in a thrilling tournament finale. Enjoy the player parade, live music, halftime divot stomp, and a special trophy presentation. As always, The Lymbar will be serving up delicious bites and top-tier drinks.

Hmm...But What Should I Wear?

Polo isn’t just a sport—it’s a stylish social affair where Spring and Fall fashion takes center stage. Attendees embrace bold, elegant looks with no strict dress code, but plenty of flair. Women often opt for sundresses or chic separates that complement their accessories. Heels aren’t ideal for grassy and gravel terrain, so wedges, flats, or boots are the smarter choice. Midriff-baring tops and crop tops are not permitted at any time.

Men lean towards dressy casual, sporting pants, clean, non-distressed jeans, or dress shorts. The goal is to look polished while staying comfortable. In a nutshell: Dress your best while keeping it practical!
