Every year in Huntsville, a usually mild-mannered convention center turns into the super-powered Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo. There, comic fans, pop culture enthusiasts, and the alter-egos of some powerful superheroes gather for a weekend of fun. During the expo, guests can pop in on discussion panels, or head over to the cosplay contest to show off their supersuits. Every year, the highlight of the expo is a lineup of celebrity guests, who have included everything from actors to comic book writers and artists. During round tables, discussion panels, and meet-and-greets, fans have the chance to interact with creators such as these, getting first-hand knowledge on how some of their favorite characters were brought to life.
